The Procurement Hive continues to enjoy a strong partnership with our growing SaaS client, and we’re now looking to recruit 2 new Buyers to their team.

Note: These Buyer positions can be remote, although our partner prefers candidates who can work in a hybrid capacity. Office locations are London and Portsmouth.

These procurement positions are available in the Procurement Services team due to business expansion and new customer demands. We seek Buyers with some business or commercial experience who can build, develop, and maintain positive relationships internally and externally.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Handle and process quotation requests within customer SLA’s.
• Work to deadlines and KPIs, focusing on quick turnaround and savings.
• Conduct sourcing and negotiation activities to secure the best prices and terms for customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers through effective communication.
• Understand customer needs and respond promptly.
• Provide regular, accurate reports on quotation statuses to stakeholders.
• Facilitate new supplier onboarding and maintain existing records.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Support Senior Buyers on complex sourcing tasks.
• Raise quotes and follow internal processes aligned with ISO Standards.
• Source products and services across categories including IT, Commercial, and Professional Services.
• Apply procurement best practices.
• Negotiate prices and terms to meet targets and increase savings.
• Evaluate supplier performance on price, quality, and delivery.
• Stay updated on market changes affecting supply and demand and communicate these to stakeholders.
• Participate in meetings to share insights and improve processes.
• Produce and maintain custom reports using Excel.
