About the Role

We’re on the lookout for a passionate Buyer to join their vibrant team and make a real impact! In this role, you’ll be at the heart of strengthening supplier partnerships and elevating product offerings for both retail and wholesale operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Drive Impact: Lead supplier relationships and negotiations to deliver value within the wholesale business.
  • Optimise Products: Manage product price files, implement cost-saving strategies, and maintain top-notch product quality.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop competitive seasonal plans and promotional strategies to maximise sales and profitability.
  • Boost Efficiency: Work across multiple categories to ensure trading performance, product availability, and service level targets are met.
  • Market Insight: Stay ahead of retail trends and competitor activity to ensure offers remain fresh and relevant.
  • Collaborate for Success: Partner with colleagues to deliver cost efficiencies and drive results across the board.
  • Supplier Leadership: Use your negotiation prowess to secure the best deals, driving both savings and strategic growth.
  • Compliance & Trends: Stay up-to-date with key legislation and market changes to ensure business continuity and success.

What We’re Looking For in You

  • Experience: At least 3 years in retail or wholesale buying or a relevant commercial role.
  • Results-Driven: Proven track record of hitting financial targets and delivering results.
  • Negotiation Pro: Strong ability to influence, close deals, and build meaningful relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Dynamic & Energetic: A self-starter who thrives under pressure, meets deadlines, and has a passion for results.
  • Team Player: Collaborative with a positive attitude, able to communicate clearly with everyone from internal teams to external partners.
