Job description

What will you do as a Senior Buyer for Accessorize Angels?

• Drive sales, profit and performance for the department through the development and execution of future ranges; working closely with the in-house Design team.
• Analyze sales and competitor performance, constantly looking for opportunities to drive the business.
• Effectively manage the critical path to deliver product on time to our customers and maximize profitability.
• Work to build and maintain great relationships with the supplier base to deliver great product, achieve margin, and deliver to critical path.
• Help develop the wider team through effective leadership and management.

What you will need to succeed as Senior Buyer for Accessorize Angels?

• Strong commercial understanding of the Childrenswear market, specifically beachwear or accessories.
• Demonstrable success in leading your own area within Buying, ideally from a high street fashion brand.
• Highly creative nature, with a passion for working closely with product.
• Flexibility and ability to work at pace, in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent problem solver and decision maker – always focusing on solutions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Active team player who constantly contributes and supports other members.
• Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Word & Excel) with an emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy.
