Job Description for Kid to Kid and Uptown Cheapskate

Kid to Kid is currently seeking part-time sales associates to join our team. We are looking for friendly, upbeat individuals who are organized, efficient, and reliable. If you love kids and kid clothing, then working at Kid to Kid is the place for you.

Uptown Cheapskate is a buy-sell-trade fashion store for young adults. We buy gently used, trendy clothes, shoes, and accessories from the community, paying cash on the spot or offering more in store credit. We then sell these items at significant discounts. Our focus is on sustainable fashion, upcycling, and environmental responsibility.

We seek employees who enjoy organizing, are quick and efficient at completing tasks, and love interacting with customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Presort incoming clothes, toys, and equipment from vendors (community members selling to us).
2. Use our computer system to buy and price incoming items.
3. Organize racks, tag, and process products.
4. Test toys and assemble equipment.
5. Ring up customers at the register and educate them on how to sell items to us.
6. Create posts for our social media pages.
7. Potential for a monthly bonus.

Compensation ranges from $10.00 to $12.00 per hour.
