We are currently recruiting for a Buyer to join a high street fashion brand on a 9-month fixed-term contract.

As a Buyer, your role will involve collaborating in the development, sourcing, and delivery of a trendy and commercially viable product range. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining the balance between creativity and commerciality, ultimately driving the success of the brand in a competitive landscape.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Source, select, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain optimum products, prices, and terms of contract. Utilize supplier expertise to improve range and knowledge.
  • Lead meetings at Director/Head level, ensuring effective communication of key information and completion of actions within set timescales.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure successful launch of new product lines, seasonal collections, and other initiatives.
  • Work with the merchandising team to monitor and control trade, ensuring stock turn, margin targets, and profit levels are achieved.
  • Review and analyze sales data, identify top-performing products/lines, and make data-driven decisions for future lines and improvements.
