Working closely with store management, e-commerce, and the franchisor’s merchandising teams, you will drive sales growth, optimize inventory, and deliver a seamless customer experience across all platforms.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Own the buying process for all GAP UK stores and e-commerce platforms, in line with our Brand Strategy and seasonal frameworks.
  • Analyse sales data, customer insights, and local market trends to shape buying decisions and identify regional opportunities.
  • Plan seasonal and replenishment buys to support sales targets, inventory health, and margin objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with GAP’s franchise teams to manage product selections, delivery calendars, and compliance requirements.
  • Customise assortments where possible to reflect local customer demand while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Collaborate with marketing, store teams and e-commerce teams to align product availability, visual merchandising, and promotional activity.
  • Monitor stock levels, identify potential risks (overstock/understock), and recommend strategies for balancing inventory.
  • Support seasonal planning, budgeting, and open-to-buy (OTB) processes.
  • Track and report on product performance, key KPIs, and market feedback to inform future buys and improve profitability.
  • Stay informed on competitor activities, regional retail trends, and customer behaviour to support strategic buying.

Role Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and financial skills with experience interpreting sales reports and managing budgets.
  • Excellent knowledge of inventory management principles and omni-channel retail operations.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
