• Residing in Droitwich area is preferred.

Buyer - Engineering / Manufacturing

We require an experienced Buyer ideally with a manufacturing or engineering buying background with solid MRP experience and previous buying experience in an engineering / manufacturing environment.

My client is an established global manufacturer supplying EMEA from their UK site. They have an excellent brand and employer reputation due to teamwork and valuing their employees' contributions

Package

Fixed term contract 3+ months with possibility to become permanent

The Role

• Placing orders & expediting, ensure on time delivery of materials
• Manage MRP/MPS/SIC
• Develop strong working partnerships with suppliers
• Monitor supplier inventory levels
• Reduce costs and lead times

Requirements

• Experienced Buyer ideally with previous buying experience in an engineering / manufacturing environment
• Good knowledge of MRP - materials resource planning
• Able to read engineering drawings
• Already living in Droitwich area
