We're working with a well-established residential developer based in Ipswich who is looking to strengthen their commercial team with the addition of a Buyer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company known for delivering high-quality homes and investing in its people.

Responsibilities:

1. Sourcing and ordering materials in line with project timelines and budgets
2. Negotiating with suppliers and building long-term relationships
3. Managing procurement schedules and maintaining accurate records
4. Working collaboratively with site and commercial teams
5. Ensuring materials meet quality and specification standards

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Buyer within a housebuilding or construction environment
2. Strong negotiation and communication skills
3. Organised, detail-oriented, and commercially aware
4. Knowledge of regional suppliers and market rates is a bonus
5. A team player with the ability to work independently when needed

Salary and Package:

1. Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
