Cygnet Health Care are excited to announce a fantastic Buyer Administrator opportunity for an organised, inquisitive & collaborative individual.

First and foremost, we are seeking a Buyer administrator who is looking to start or progress a career within Procurement. We are keen to find someone with excellent administration skills, who is also consultative, empathetic and analytical.

Our Buyer Administrator will work closely with key stakeholders, to understand the requirements and targets of the business and service users within our care. They also support other members of the team with projects, tenders and other administrative tasks.

Previous Procurement experience is not required as we provide on-the-job training and coaching, which will teach you all about indirect strategic procurement within the fast paced healthcare sector. The most important thing is that you have good administrative skills, are a clear communicator, and are willing to learn.

Purpose

Help lead procurement activity within our Digital Services Transactional category, and manage department communications. This category includes but is not limited to: Managing the department's phone and email communications, transactional purchases, process purchase orders and user requests through the Service Desk management system raising purchase orders, managing the purchase order system and resolve purchase order and invoicing queries,

Responsibilities

Help drive strategic change within the Digital Services Transactional Procurement category, consolidating spend across multiple business units to drive cost efficiencies. Help to analyse spend reports, and implement procurement led improvements with this sector. Support colleagues and stakeholders in contract management of key suppliers. Improve supplier performance. Actively manage suppliers and cost base.

Overall, you will play a pivotal role in delivering the mission, vision and values of the company.

Person Specification

Experience.

This role is aimed at someone looking to enter or progress further within a Procurement career. Previous Procurement experience is not required as we provide on-the-job training and coaching, which will teach you all about indirect strategic procurement within the fast paced healthcare sector.
