Our client is expanding their Procurement team and hiring another role. This is a fantastic development opportunity to join a fast-growing Software firm with a host of FTSE100 corporate clients, delivering the modern digital experience!.

The role will be responsible for managing, negotiation and contracting for non-strategic agreements and supporting the Senior Procurement Manager with strategically important contracts in the IT and non IT space. You join an exciting greenfield environment together with the flexibility of hybrid working and a corporate package!

As a Buyer;

What would you be doing

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of BAU contracts in line with the Procurement Policy.
  • Delivering sustainable savings across the supply base.
  • Supporting the Senior Manager to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business.
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Supporting with the delivery of a category management model with appropriate controls.
  • Ownership of Procurement MI and reporting.

What you need

  • Demonstrates some Sourcing experience (Tech,Directs or Indirects), gained within a traditional Procurement or Supplier Management function
  • Evidence of driving value and commercial benefit from Vendors.
  • Evidence of Stakeholder Engagement, maintaining long-term relationships with Stakeholder communities.
  • Experience in managing and reporting on MI analytics.
  • Degree qualified / or equivalent / or CIPS.
