In the UK we are currently over 300 strong and our plans are to grow to 400-500 by 2025 through the development of our UK nuclear service offerings.

Due to our ongoing growth and expansion of our Supply Chain team, we are looking to recruit a full-time, permanent Buyer.

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the main responsibilities of this role will include:

1. Evaluate offers and raise purchase orders.
2. Support in categorization of existing suppliers (both indirect and direct procurements).
3. Liaise with Operations and other internal departments to identify internal stakeholders’ requirements.
4. Source new suppliers based on provided specification.
5. Negotiate, create, and maintain Supplier agreements.
6. Support market analysis.
7. Prepare reports.

You are

To be considered, we require the following skills and experience:

1. Commercial/technical degree bachelor level or above.
2. CIPS 4 or working towards it.
3. Purchasing experience (essential).
4. Experience in manufacturing or construction setting required.
5. SAP experience required.
6. Experience of working with the following categories is a plus (Industrial tooling, scaffolding, lifting, calibration, raw material).
7. Ability to work independently and as a team player.
