Job description

We have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Buyer on our gold category.

If you are a Buyer and currently or have had previous experience within a jewellery category (including costume/brand) and can demonstrate strategic thinking within a fashion/fast fashion environment we would like to hear from you!

As a Buyer, you will be responsible for achieving KPI’s for your category by focusing on range building, trading, and promoting product, as well as reviewing and analysing performance.

You will play a part in driving the category strategy to deliver profitable market share growth while achieving intake margin and terminal stock targets.

You will have experience within the following:

  • Successful track record of product/buying experience (focus on commercial and development not sourcing) in prior retailer
  • Demonstrably high level of commercial awareness
  • Demonstrable and thorough working knowledge of buying process
  • Strong organisational skills with proven ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Proven numerical and analytical skills
  • Proven relationship building skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Knowledge of product area desirable
  • Knowledge of manufacturing techniques desirable
