Owen Daniels is seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to join a leading automotive manufacturing company in Birmingham. The successful candidate will focus on direct purchasing within the Bought-Out Parts category, covering a wide range of commodities.

Experience in the automotive sector and in a fast-paced procurement role is essential. You'll be responsible for managing supplier relationships and pricing negotiations.

Qualifications

Previously worked within the automotive manufacturing sector.
Well versed working in a Buyer role or similar.
Experienced working within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Day to day commercial management of the supplier base.
Negotiate prices and contract terms.
Manage RFQ to SOP, including NPI.

Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing business, is looking for an experienced Senior Buyer to join their growing organisation. The successful candidate will have experience working within the manufacturing industry, in a fast-paced procurement role, dealing with many suppliers and commodities.

The role focuses on direct purchasing and sits within the Bought-Out Parts category, covering a wide range of commodities including films, foams, tapes, clips, coatings, stampings, fasteners, fixings and surface treatments.
