Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a Buyer in Leeds to join a site-based team within the manufacturing/automotive sector. The role involves managing supplier accounts, developing strong relationships, and negotiating cost reductions while reviewing service levels.

37 hours per week, Mon-Fri, with some flexibility on start/end times. You will focus on UK/Europe suppliers, using MRP purchasing reports to support purchasing decisions in a global tier-one environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Buyer or in a purchasing role.
• Experience in manufacturing/engineering/automotive sectors.
• Strong understanding of MRP purchasing reports.

Buyer - Manufacturing/Automotive Sector

Leeds , Site based role

£35-40K plus bonus plus benefits plus 25 days leave

Mon-Fri, 37 Hours/week, some flex on start/end times

Are you an Buyer, ideally from a manufacturing/engineering or automotive background, looking for a permanent role with a global tier one supplier?

The role may suit a Buyer looking to work in a bigger team/company or someone who combines buying with other duties who is looking for a more defined position.

The role offers the chance to work in team of 5 in a highly professional environment, a good pension and flexibility around start/end times.

The position will primarily focus on managing existing suppliers (mainly UK/Europe based) , building strong relationships, negotiating on costs and understanding MRP purchasing reports.
