Main duties of the jobThe post holder will be expected to offer support within thePurchasing team to ensure that an effective and efficient procurement serviceis provided to the Organisation, and that all Purchase Orders are processedcorrectly and invoices paid within the Organisations Standard Financial Instructionsand Public Sector Payment Policy. Excellent communication skills are essentialto this post, as is the ability to recognise the most appropriate and effectivemethod of communication for the task at hand.
Process computerised receipts, order amendments to reflectinvoicing details and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders toensure order details are correct and match invoices.
Joint working with Accounts Payable to identify areaswhere improvements can be made.
