Position: Buyer/Sourcing Specialist

Location: Stafford

Work Pattern: Contract - Hybrid

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all active suppliers are approved and compliant with Supplier Management Systems
• Enforce supplier strategy & Sourcing policies including management and optimization of supplier panels.
• Lead negotiations and allocate needs to specific suppliers
• Support budget planning and deliver Sourcing deflation and payment targets
• Negotiate terms and conditions
• Includes commercial sourcing management such as data analysis, negotiations support, etc.
• Support team to resolve Supplier issues / support any related Sourcing related execution issues.
• Ensure invoices are released in accordance with the process in place.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years buying and sourcing experience
• Experienced in Indirect buying and sourcing
• CIPS or similar qualifications

Desired Skills and Experience:

This role requires 3-5 years experience in either buying, procurement or sourcing functions, along with Indirect buying experience and CIPS or working towards this.
