Job summary

The Range in Plymouth is seeking a Buyer to manage our customer offer and maximise sales, margin and profitability. You will work closely with the Head of Buying to enhance The Range's offering and build strong supplier relationships.

You will lead a cross-functional team to deliver great product availability, relevant range reviews, and competitive pricing in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Primary accountability for maximizing sales, margin & profitability in a fast moving and diverse category.
• Lead a team building long term supplier relationships to deliver a successful product offer.
• Implementation of the product strategy and ensuring the business meets customer needs.
• Monitor and review competitor information to keep the product offering relevant.
• Lead role in range reviews, supplier negotiations, promotions & pricing.

Responsibilities

  You need will need to have experience of buying
