Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Buyer at Tech Etch, you’ll play a key role in our procurement process—responsible for sourcing, selecting, and purchasing the materials, equipment, and services that keep our operations running efficiently. As the primary point of contact for suppliers, you’ll lead negotiations, manage vendor relationships, and collaborate cross-functionally to align purchasing decisions with business needs. Your attention to detail, ability to analyze data, and strategic mindset will help optimize inventory levels and contribute to the company’s success.

• Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including sourcing, RFQs, negotiating pricing and terms, and placing purchase orders in the ERP system.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers—monitoring performance, resolving issues, and identifying new sourcing opportunities.
• Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of purchase order and part master data in the ERP system.
• Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand, coordinate subcontractor activities, and align purchasing strategies with operational needs.
• Monitor inventory levels, analyze data, and implement purchasing strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize costs, and support production flow.
• Verify compliance with specifications, certifications, and regulatory requirements for all purchased materials and services.
• Assist with the resolution of purchasing, logistics, and financial discrepancies while ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and ethical standards.
