Responsibilities

  • Work regularly on improving forecasting techniques for long lead items.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers and monitor performance.
  • Negotiate pricing and lead times to meet production demands.
  • Provide monthly supplier forecasts based on S&OP information.
  • Release orders based on current demand and analyze stock holding.
  • Provide accurate and timely monthly reports.

Responsibilities
  • Work with a continuous improvement mindset continually improving forecasting techniques for long lead items, optional parts and kanban supply whilst managing cost saving projects
  • Manage a portfolio of key suppliers, developing & maintaining relationships whilst continually monitoring performance
  • Negotiate best price and lead times with suppliers ensuring all materials are on site, on time to meet production demands
  • Provide monthly supplier forecasts based on latest S&OP information
  • Release of orders to the supplier network based on current demand
  • Provide accurate and timely monthly reports
  • Provide analysis and suggest actions on current stock holding
