Overview

Capex Recruitment are working in partnership with a manufacturing firm in the Derry/Londonderry area on the appointment of a Buyer.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and procurement of a wide range of materials to meet production demand
• Build relationships with key suppliers, negotiating best price and lead times whilst continually monitoring performance
• Manage stock levels
• Ensuring compliance with the Company’s Quality Management Systems ISO 9001 & ISO 14001
• Involved in the management of contract delivery
• Undertake any other duties within your sphere of knowledge, experience or competency as and when required

What you will need to succeed

• A minimum of 2 years procurement experience within a fast paced, manufacturing environment
• Proficient with various software systems as well as all Microsoft office packages
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
