The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services that meet the needs of our organisation. This role requires strong negotiation skills, an understanding of supply chain logistics, and proficiency in various procurement systems. The Buyer will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly by maintaining optimal inventory levels and fostering relationships with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their offerings.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best prices and quality.
• Manage purchase orders from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely fulfilment.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs and align procurement strategies accordingly.
