Job summary

Sulzer GT Aero Services Ltd. is seeking an experienced Buyer to procure goods and services for our operations, ensuring timely delivery, cost-effectiveness and adherence to quality standards.

You will identify suppliers, issue POs, manage inventory, and collaborate with engineering, production and QA to meet material requirements. The role requires 3–5 years in purchasing/procurement, strong negotiation and ERP skills (SAP/Oracle).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the aerospace, manufacturing, or industrial services sector.
• Proven negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of purchasing best practices and supply chain management principles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant regulations and company ethical guidelines.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to support new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
