As a Procurement Professional, you’ll drive procurement targets, manage supplier performance, and implement strategic sourcing. Collaborating with Global Category Leads, you’ll ensure alignment on category strategies while supporting sustainability and innovation. Your work will help transform energy and reduce carbon emissions for a cleaner future.


The role:

As a Buyer, you will help drive our goals by:

  1. Act in line with JM values and the One Procurement Community (OPC) to support Procurement Excellence.
  2. Ensure compliance with Group Procurement policies, standards, and operating models, utilizing Coupa for sourcing and supplier management.
  3. Build and manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, improve supply channels, and drive sustainable value.
  4. Analyze purchase order data and financial pipelines to support demand planning and cost optimization.
  5. Identify and implement supply chain improvements, ensuring cost-effective, ethical, and high-quality sourcing.
  6. Drive and support category strategies, procurement projects, and business improvements to optimize efficiency and savings.
  7. Collaborate with stakeholders, finance, and JMGS teams to resolve procurement disputes, ensure compliance, and enhance business performance.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
  1. Procurement Expertise: 5+ years in indirect procurement, including category management, sourcing, and contract negotiation.
  2. Supplier & Stakeholder Management: Experience managing suppliers and collaborating across cultures, geographies, and time zones.
  3. Strategic & Cost Optimization: Ability to balance total cost of ownership (TCO), value analysis, and cost-saving initiatives.
  4. Project & Change Management: Skilled in driving procurement projects and implementing process improvements.
  5. Communication & Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders and champion Procurement’s vision.
  6. Analytical & Decision-Making: Ability to forecast, analyze data, and prioritize tasks effectively.
