About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Buyer to lead the strategy and execution of our Skincare and Beauty Edit categories at Fenwick. This role is central to driving sales, increasing profitability, and enhancing our market presence across both physical stores and our online platform. With a strong focus on range planning, product performance, and supplier relationships, the Buyer will develop and deliver a commercially sound product strategy that aligns with the Fenwick brand and local customer needs.
You will take ownership of the buying strategy for skincare and the Beauty Edit space, ensuring high-performing, trend-led, and customer-relevant assortments are curated and maintained. Core responsibilities include end-to-end range development, supplier negotiations, managing stock and margin performance, and identifying new brand opportunities. In addition, you will oversee the execution of seasonal trading plans and product launches, working closely with digital, marketing, and retail teams to optimise visibility and engagement.
The ideal candidate will bring at least 3 years’ experience in a buying role—preferably within beauty or lifestyle—and demonstrate a strong commercial mindset, negotiation expertise, and a flair for product curation. This is a hands-on role requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams, a data-driven approach to decision-making, and a passion for delivering a premium and inspiring customer experience.
Collaboration is key at Fenwick; our buying team work closely with our Retail; Digital and Merchandising teams ensure we have the strongest product edit available in store and online.
