Clarkson Owens Recruitment are working with a leading house builder who are looking to recruit an experienced buyer to work predominantly from their office in Fife.

Primary responsibilities will be to source and procure contractors, materials and
services for housing developments.

Ideally you will have:

• Previous experience in a buying or procurement role, ideally within construction
or housebuilding
• Articulate, numerate, analytical with strong communication and negotiation
skills.
• Good knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC standards and Health and Safety
legislation.
• Good working knowledge of construction contract law and its practical
application
• Excellent IT skills (working knowledge and experience of COINS preferred).
