The Opportunity

We are looking for a Buyer to join our Procurement team on a 6 month fixed term contract basis. You will be working within the Supply Chain team to support KAEFER in achieving our mission to be most reliable and efficient provider of technical industrial services.

The primary focus of this role is to procure goods and services quickly and accurately to ensure operations are maintained across the business with a focus on QCD.

How you will make an impact

  • Raise PORs for goods and services ensuring approval in line with DOA.
  • Expedite PORs to ensure lead times are met.
  • Issue RFQs
  • Engage with key stakeholders across the business to develop relationships, understand requirements and project pipeline.
  • Be a champion for the function, providing guidance and support to site teams for all aspects of supply chain.

What you will bring

  • Excellent communication skills to deal with various levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organisation, work prioritisation and negotiating skills.
  • Proactivity and the ability to work using your own initiative.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Accuracy in processing data and information.
  • Experience working with MRP/ERP systems.
  • Previous experience in a similar Supply Chain role.
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain best practice and Market and MACRO environments.
  • Experience of Contract Management and Risk Management.

Salary and benefits

The salary for this role is competitive and comes with the following benefits:

  • Competitive salary reviewed annually
  • Pension based on minimum of 5% from employee, 7.5% from KAEFER
  • Discretionary, non-contractual, company bonus scheme (annual)
