This is a varied position combining international procurement, supplier management, inventory planning and continuous improvement, with the opportunity to help strengthen purchasing systems and processes across the business.
Location: Suffolk (Nr Ipswich)
Salary: £35,000-£40,000 (DOE) + Fantastic Benefits

Reporting to the Procurement and Business Process Manager, you'll manage an assigned portfolio of suppliers and products, with a particular focus on intercompany and international procurement.
You'll take responsibility for day-to-day purchasing activity, supplier performance and stock availability, ensuring products are procured efficiently, competitively and in line with customer and operational requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
You'll have previous experience within a Buyer, Procurement or Supply Chain position and be comfortable managing suppliers, purchasing activity and stock requirements within a fast‑moving environment.
International procurement experience is important, alongside a good understanding of supplier performance, demand planning and inventory management.
You'll also need:
Previous experience within roofing products, construction materials, building products or a related manufacturing environment would be advantageous. Experience supporting ERP improvement projects, intercompany purchasing or a small team would also be beneficial.
