Mothercare Global Brand is looking for a 12-month Fixed Term Contract Buyer to cover maternity leave.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with franchise partners to review channel trading performance, understand the plan, and agree on actions to drive sales and profit.
2. Support the Commercial Business Partner in delivering annual retail sales and gross profit targets for your markets.
3. Understand the franchisee's order book and inventory position, taking appropriate actions to manage stock throughout the season.
4. Identify missed opportunities for bestselling global products not ordered by the partner.
5. Assist franchise partners in implementing retail pricing strategies, considering local competitor activity.
6. Maintain knowledge of franchise trading plans, agree on further actions, and conduct post-activity reviews to develop best practices.
7. Coordinate with the commercial management and stock teams to ensure shipment targets align with sales forecasts, managing seasonal availability and excess stock routes.
8. Work with compliance and order management teams to ensure certification requirements are met.
9. Collaborate with franchise partners to maximize channel LFL sales through space planning, store grading, and range analysis.
10. Coordinate with the Global Retail Operations Manager to ensure partners have up-to-date materials and operational support.
11. Support the Commercial Business Partner in achieving global brand standards.
12. Communicate with the store projects coordinator regarding project risks and update the trading team accordingly.
13. Act as the daily contact for franchise trading teams, providing feedback to Mothercare Global Brand.
