Are you an experienced Buyer looking for your next opportunity? We're looking for a proactive and detail-driven professional to take ownership of end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring the smooth and cost-effective supply of materials and services that keep our operations running efficiently.

This role plays a key part in driving supplier performance, maintaining strong relationships, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvement.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Managing the full procurement cycle - from order placement to material replenishment.
  • Sourcing and selecting the most cost-effective materials to support manufacturing and operational needs.
  • Creating, allocating, and amending Bills of Materials (BOMs) in line with company procedures.
  • Liaising with suppliers to expedite orders and ensure timely delivery.
  • Monitoring and analysing supplier performance against KPIs to ensure on-time delivery and quality.
  • Conducting supplier evaluations and performance reviews to drive improvements.
  • Negotiating pricing, terms, and conditions to achieve the best commercial outcomes.
  • Delivering measurable cost savings through improved pricing, payment terms, and logistics efficiencies.
  • Managing supplier invoices, coding, and resolving any discrepancies promptly.
  • Handling procurement of indirect goods and services such as office supplies, tools, and consumables.
  • Creating and maintaining stock codes in line with internal systems and procedures.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the procurement function.
What we’re looking for:
  • Proven experience in a Buyer or Procurement role, ideally within a manufacturing or operational environment.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
  • Confident working with suppliers to build long-term, value-driven relationships.
