A leading telecommunications services provider is seeking a Buyer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of buying experience, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively. This role is based in Derby/Wednesbury and offers a hybrid working model after training. A background in telecommunications or related fields is preferred, as you will play a crucial role in the procurement strategy of the company.

Salary: Up to £38k DOE.

What you will be doing:

It’s your chance to play a key role at the centre of a fast-moving purchasing operation within a leading telecommunications services provider, operating across the UK and Ireland. Our client delivers cutting-edge network infrastructure and installation solutions, and you’ll be right in the thick of it. From sourcing top-quality products to keeping everything running smoothly and on time, you’ll help bring the Procurement Strategy to life. Ideally, you’ll bring experience within a supplier-based environment, with exposure to both UK and offshore suppliers. Industry background in telecoms is preferred, though experience in engineering, manufacturing, or construction would also be highly valuable.
