Are you a Buyer, Procurement, or Purchasing Specialist with experience working within a manufacturing environment?

Manufacturing Buyer required for a well-established manufacturer known for quality. They offer a fantastic team environment and a progressive workplace where training, development, and progression are readily available.

The role is suitable for buyers, purchasing, supply chain, and procurement professionals from any manufacturing background. Applicants should ideally have or be working towards MCIPS qualifications and be familiar with ERP systems. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and 14001 is advantageous.

Your daily responsibilities will include sourcing and purchasing materials/services to meet quality, budget, and delivery expectations. You will be involved in the entire supply chain process. A key part of your role will be building and maintaining strong supplier relationships, negotiating terms and prices, reviewing supplier performance, and reducing costs where possible. You will ensure all purchases comply with ISO 9001 and 14001 standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for stock management and materials control, working closely with the import team and third-party logistics providers to coordinate global shipments.
