Job description

MANE are currently recruiting for Buyers for our Manufacturing client based in Belfast.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the procurement of products and parts, along with supporting equipment and facilities.
2. Lead strategic sourcing and procurement for key commodities while effectively managing tail spend.
3. Establish and maintain supplier relationship management programs, focusing on performance, cost evaluation, and quality assurance.
4. Negotiate contracts, obtain necessary approvals, and oversee progress, quality, and service delivery.
5. Support ERP system enhancements, identifying opportunities to improve procurement processes and drive efficiency across the business.
6. Participate in team meetings and reporting activities, ensuring alignment with the companies operational goals.
7. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and procurement best practices.
8. Foster strong working relationships across departments to enhance collaboration and operational effectiveness.
9. Contribute to a company culture that reflects company Values and Guiding Principles, supporting long-term business success.
