Responsibilities

• Secure supply of components and materials, adhering to requirements, budgets, and deadlines
• Benchmark products and suppliers for cost, quality, and delivery performance
• Lead negotiations and manage supplier relationships
• Monitor and improve supplier performance using KPIs
• Provide insights on cost-saving, stock control, and procurement planning
• Support departmental goals like cost reduction and stock optimization
• Assist cross-functional teams with procurement best practices

Qualifications

• Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen
• Understanding of car component manufacturing and supply chain dynamics
• Experience with ERP systems (IFS preferred) and Excel
• Excellent time management and adaptability
• Effective communication skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• CIPS qualification and knowledge of contract law preferred
• Experience in motorsport or high-performance engineering is a plus
