Qualifications

• Strong knife skills required.
• Experience in management of a butchery or similar role preferred.
• Commercial awareness with understanding of yields and costs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of butchers and assistants, providing training and motivation.
• Manage butchery sales and profit responsibilities.
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience at all times.
• Create inspiring, seasonally changing displays for the shop.
• Ensure self-serve displays in chillers are attractive and shopable.
• Share product information proactively with team and customers.
• Adhere to health and safety and food safety standards.
• Monitor sales and margin performance; drive targets.
• Control stock and stock levels.
• Assist with store setup and close-down as required.
• Take part in stocktakes, meetings and training.
