Job description

We are seeking experienced Butchers to manage our Butchery Departments, treating them as their own business. This exciting role involves working with customers to develop their business, understanding the local market, and providing excellent service.

This position offers the flexibility to run a butchery business without financial risk. Candidates should possess good product knowledge of all meat proteins, be self-motivated, and have a strong desire to succeed.

Responsibilities include maintaining high standards in stock management, food safety procedures, meat displays, staff morale, and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with the Store Manager to develop a business plan aimed at increasing sales and profitability.

Additional duties involve greeting and advising customers, processing orders, managing stock and stocktaking, leading a small team with staff rotas, meat cutting, cleaning tools and equipment, coordinating deliveries or pickups, and waste control.
