Job description

We are looking for experienced Butchers to run our Butchery Departments as if they were their own business. This exciting role involves working with customers to develop their business, understanding the local market, and providing excellent service.

This position offers the flexibility to manage a butchery business without financial risk. We seek someone with strong product knowledge of all meat proteins, self-motivated, and eager to succeed.

Responsibilities include maintaining high standards in stock management, food safety procedures, meat displays, staff morale, and customer satisfaction.

You will collaborate with the Store Manager to develop a business plan aimed at increasing sales and profitability.

Your duties will include greeting customers, providing advice, processing orders, managing stock and stocktaking, leading a small team with staff rotas, meat cutting, cleaning equipment, coordinating deliveries, and waste control.
