About the role

We are looking for experienced Butchers to run our Butchery Departments as if they own their own business. This exciting role involves working with customers to develop their business, understanding your local market, and providing excellent service.

This role offers you the flexibility to run a butchery business without financial risk. We seek someone with good product knowledge of all meat proteins, self-motivated and eager to succeed.

You will be responsible for

• Maintaining high standards in stock management, food safety, meat displays, staff morale, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborating with the Store Manager to develop a business plan to grow sales and profitability.
• Greeting customers, providing advice, answering questions, accepting orders, and assisting with their needs.
• Managing stock, including ordering and stocktaking.
• Leading a small team, including staff scheduling.
• Cutting meat to order and maintaining tools and equipment.
• Coordinating deliveries and managing waste control.
