Job description

We are looking for experienced Butchers to run our Butchery Departments as if they were their own business. This is an exciting opportunity where you will work with customers to develop their business, understand your local market, and provide excellent service.

This role offers the flexibility to manage a butchery business without the financial risk. We seek someone with good product knowledge of all meat proteins, self-motivated, and eager to succeed.

Your responsibilities include maintaining high standards in stock management, food safety procedures (including recording information), managing fresh and pre-packed meat displays, staff morale, and customer satisfaction.

You will collaborate with the Store Manager to develop a business plan aimed at increasing sales and profitability of your department.

Key duties include greeting and advising customers, processing orders, stock management (including stocktaking), team management and scheduling, meat cutting, equipment cleaning, coordinating deliveries, and waste control.
