We seek experienced Butchers to manage our Butchery Departments as if they were their own business. This role involves working with customers to develop their business, understanding the local market, and providing excellent service.
The position offers the flexibility to run a butchery without financial risk. We require someone with good product knowledge of all meat types, self-motivated with a drive to succeed.
You will be responsible for
Maintaining high standards in stock management, food safety procedures, meat displays, staff morale, and customer satisfaction.
Collaborating with the Store Manager to develop a business plan aimed at increasing sales and profitability.
Greeting customers, providing advice, answering questions, accepting orders, and offering helpful service with a smile.
Managing stock ordering, stocktaking, and waste control.
Effectively leading a small team, including staff rota management.
Cutting meat to order, cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment, and coordinating deliveries or pickups.
