At our Preston site, we process both beef and lamb and we are currently looking for Skilled Butchers to work in the Retail production and Abattoir/Boning Hall, within our production team, who have the experience to confidently cut, bone, and trim beef and lamb to a high standard.

It’s a fast-paced environment, with targets and customer specifications to achieve, and we offer competitive rates for skilled individuals, with opportunities for progression available.

Responsibilities

• Meeting production targets & customer specifications
• Boning & trimming to a high specification
• Working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Complying with Company Health & Safety and Food Safety requirements
• Interacting with colleagues across a wide range of departments and businesses
• A self-managing proactive approach

Qualifications

• Previous butchery industry experience (Block test at interview)
• Must be able to prove Right to Work in the UK
• Excellent opportunities for progression within the business across a variety of departments
• Unique role allowing you to see both sides of operations across both supplier & retailer within the FMCG industry
