Job summary

South Lincolnshire Academies Trust Ltd in Spalding is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our busy school kitchen. The role is 17.5 hours per week across 39 weeks per annum, with duties including meal preparation, serving, cleaning and stock control. You will work as part of a team and support daily operations in a welcoming school environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation and cooking of meals and beverages.
• Assist in the serving of meals and maintain counter presentation.
• Prepare the dining area and ensure food storage areas are clean and tidy.
• Operate the in-house cashless catering system.
• Follow Food Safety and Health & Safety policies.
• Undertake other duties as required for the effective operation of the catering department.
