Business Development Executive (Structural Steel)
£35,000 - £40,000 + Career Progression + Benefits
Newport, Wales

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Executive to join a rapidly growing subcontractor specialising in the installation of steel, glass, and balustrade systems for reputable Tier 1 clients.

Do you have sales or business development experience within the steel industry? Are you eager to work with an exciting, high-quality product in a dynamic company that offers bonuses and clear progression opportunities?

This specialist contractor delivers premium steel and glass installation services and has built long-standing relationships with a diverse range of clients. With ambitious expansion plans, they are now seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to support and grow their client base through strategic sales efforts and relationship management.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Coordinator or Business Development Executive looking to take the next step in their career. You will work closely with a wide client portfolio, take ownership of accounts, and play a key role in driving business growth.

In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business and identifying growth opportunities by implementing a targeted sales strategy. You will manage key client accounts, process material orders, and serve as the main point of contact to ensure excellent service delivery.

The ideal candidate will have industry knowledge of structural steel and a background in sales or business development. You should be proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment offering genuine progression and performance-based rewards.

The Role:
* Respond to incoming sales enquiries
* Identify and convert leads to expand client accounts
* Build strong relationships with engineers, architects, and manufacturers
* Act as a key account manager, ensuring on-time and accurate delivery

The Person:
* Experience in business development or sales
* Knowledge of structural steel or related industries
* Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
* Highly motivated and eager to progress in a growing company
* Full UK driving licence and able to commute to Newport
