Job Description:
SMBF - Production Management (also known as SMBF Technology Production Support) is an organization with more than 5,000 employees and contract workers. The Business Execution team manages planning, administration, and organizational development activities, including financials, headcount, real estate, and vendor management, supporting the Production Management Leadership Team.
We seek an experienced candidate to join the team to oversee the Finance area and contribute to additional projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Driving administrative, operational, reporting, and quality improvements in collaboration with internal teams.
- Managing financial controls, including understanding department P&L, accruals, client allocations, capitalization, recovery, and fixed-price contracts to enhance efficiency.
- Handling cross-product technology, regulatory, and administrative duties, including financial, staffing, quality, risk, and regulatory matters.
- Executing vendor management activities, ensuring legal compliance, and coordinating contracts.
- Overseeing critical reporting processes for accuracy and quality.
- Managing headcount, real estate inventory, onboarding, and resource termination.
- Supporting technology and communication strategies for the department.
- Assessing risks associated with business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and managing control issues transparently.
- Collaborating with finance teams on quarterly outlooks, budgets, and financial projections.
- Managing month-end closing and variance analysis for senior management.
- Standardizing financial processes across verticals for efficiency.
- Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines and legal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to work under pressure, detail-oriented, curious, and strategic.
- Excellent organizational skills and independent thinking.
- Experience in global, complex environments with multiple stakeholders.
- Knowledge of financial services industry and technology.
- Leadership experience in managing teams.
- Strong communication skills.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Master's preferred.
