Job description

Business Travel Consultants - Required for an established Travel Management company on a remote basis. Due to continued growth, my client is expanding their team and is looking for an experienced Business Travel Consultant/Senior Business Travel Consultant with experience using Galileo. This role involves working on a variety of accounts across different sectors, offering the highest level of service while booking point-to-point and multi-sector worldwide flights, hotels, and transfers.

Business Travel Consultants will work on a small shift pattern, Monday to Friday, between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm, totaling 37.5 hours a week. The salary is up to £32,000, dependent on experience, along with a quarterly bonus and benefits. This role can be fully home-based, but candidates must be located in Scotland.

Responsibilities include:

1. Working on corporate accounts, booking worldwide travel arrangements using Galileo.
2. Booking flights, hotels, car hire, and rail, and providing up-to-date travel and visa advice.
3. Dealing with changes, cancellations, etc.
4. Ticketing functions.

Skills required:

1. Experience as a Business Travel Consultant using GDS Galileo.
2. Excellent knowledge of flights and fares.
3. Experience with ticketing is preferred.
