HR Transformation Lead – Global Restructuring Programme

Location: London, UK
Full-time 12 months FTC
Monday to Friday, hybrid working

Immediate start preferred – candidates must be available to commence within weeks

About the Role

Our client, a leading global professional services firm, is seeking a highly experienced HR Transformation Lead to play a pivotal role in a major business-wide restructuring and change programme. This is a strategic project-based role that will see you partner with global HR leaders, regional teams, and the central transformation function to align people strategy with bold organisational change.

The successful candidate will act as the senior HR lead across all transformation and change workstreams, with some focus on the UK and Continental Europe (CE) regions.

This role requires someone who can begin within a few weeks. Candidates with a short notice period or immediate availability are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead HR Workstreams covering organisational design, workforce planning, redeployment, and redundancy processes.
  • Act as the HR interface, coordinating with local teams and leading works council consultation processes.
  • Partner with employee relations specialists and legal counsel to manage compliance and anticipate risks.
  • Serve as the primary change advisor to the central transformation team and business leaders, facilitating capability-building and leadership alignment.
  • Shape and implement change and engagement strategies, including communications, leadership briefings, and employee support across impacted regions.
  • Collaborate globally with senior HRBPs, regional directors, and Centres of Expertise to ensure consistent execution of HR initiatives.

Requirements

Experience:

  • Proven experience in a Global or Senior HRBP role, ideally within a complex, matrixed organisation.
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale transformation or change programmes.
  • Strong track record of supporting senior leaders and navigating sensitive employee relations, including works council processes in Europe.
  • Deep experience working in multinational environments—professional services experience is highly advantageous.

Skills:

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of change management frameworks and organisational design.
  • Resilient, agile, and capable of working at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Commercially aware and comfortable advising at board level and Ability to assess and mitigate risks in highly sensitive environments.

Qualifications:

  • CIPD or equivalent HR qualification preferred.
