About The Post
The role has been developed to address the University’s need for specific B2B marketing activity to improve our links with the local business community.
The B2B Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing an annual plan of marketing activity for the Directorate of Careers, Commercial & Academic Partnerships (CCAP), agreed by the Head of Business Engagement and Pro-Vice Chancellor of Commercial and Academic Partnerships.
The B2B Marketing Manager will lead a programme of inbound and outbound marketing techniques to increase awareness of the University offer and create a pipeline of businesses supporting the University.
As part of the Business Engagement Team, the B2B Marketing Manager will proactively identify and support the development of relationships with private and public organisations in areas including, but not limited to, workforce skills development, innovation, CPD, internships, placements, consulting and similar.
About The Team
The Directorate of Careers, Commercial & Academic Partnerships (CCAP) is home to the University’s provision of careers, employability and enterprise support for our students, apprentices and graduates; our business development and engagement activities to support local businesses; our provision of Apprenticeships focused on employer-led education and our Centre for Academic and International Partnerships.
About You
You will have experience of working in a B2B marketing environment; a knowledge and appreciation of the latest developments in marketing management; excellent planning and organisational skills; a solution-orientated approach to problem solving and the ability to work well with others across various teams/departments and at varying levels of seniority.
