About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Business lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5, following relevant examination specifications.
  • Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students are challenged and supported in their understanding of business principles.
  • Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources, including case studies, simulations, guest speakers, and digital tools, to enhance student learning.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning journeys, fostering a deep understanding of business concepts and skills.
  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Business examinations, ensuring they have a strong understanding of assessment criteria and business methodologies.
  • Contribute to the development of the Business curriculum and resources, integrating current business trends and entrepreneurial initiatives.
  • Foster a love of business in students, encouraging them to develop their analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, and to appreciate the dynamics of the business world.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
