Job Description
- Manage and coordinate the provision of tax compliance services for a portfolio of clients.
- Assist in planning and advisory work for clients, as required.
- Control WIP on allocated jobs, including billing and debt collection.
- Build and maintain good relationships with clients and colleagues within the firm.
- Assist in allocating compliance and other work to junior staff, ensuring effective deployment.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff in consultancy and compliance work.
- Participate in recruitment, staff appraisal, feedback, and development.
- Develop and maintain areas of specialisation as agreed with partners.
- Prepare and assist in external/internal presentations and training courses.
- Prepare technical materials such as factsheets and articles.
- Assist partners with project and consultancy work.
- Support marketing initiatives, including preparing factsheets and tendering.
- Keep abreast of UK taxation and relevant developments.
Candidate Attributes
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) or equivalent professional experience.
- CTA qualification is desirable.
- Proficient in MS Office and relevant computer applications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
