Job summary

Cooper Parry in the UK is seeking a Part Qualified Tax Associate to grow within corporate tax. The role can be worked from London or Thames Valley, offering hands-on experience across a diverse client portfolio.

You'll work with senior team members to prepare corporate tax computations, support disclosures for statutory accounts, and help develop and implement tax strategies while building trusted client relationships in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Part qualified in a relevant qualification (e.g., ATT, ACA).
• 1 – 2 years’ experience in a tax or accounting role, ideally within an accountancy practice.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive mindset and a genuine interest in tax.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Looking after a portfolio of clients ranging from big businesses, PE backed and OMBs
• Assisting in the preparation of corporate tax computations, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
• We encourage opportunity spotting and building trusted relationships with our clients
• Supporting with tax disclosures for statutory accounts
• Collaborating with senior team members to develop and implement tax strategies
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, delivering exceptional service
• Staying informed about changes in tax regulations and industry best practices
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of tax-related projects

About the day to day…

As a Part Qualified Tax Associate, you'll gain hands‑on experience working with a diverse portfolio of clients, providing them with tailored tax solutions.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive and vibrant environment. You’ll get stuck into a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities, including;
