We are looking for a hands-on Business Systems Automation Developer with strong technical expertise in automation and solution delivery. This role is central to our mission of streamlining processes, reducing manual effort, and driving efficiency across our global business systems. This is not a back-office analysis role - it's about designing, configuring, and delivering automation solutions across multiple platforms. - Implement and support workflow automation and data integration technologies (e.g., Azure Logic Apps, Power Platform, Azure Data Factory).
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, advising on feasibility and shaping practical automation solutions.
- Take ownership across the delivery lifecycle: requirements, build, testing, deployment, release readiness, and support.
- Troubleshoot and optimise live automation solutions, ensuring performance, scalability, and minimal disruption to operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and integration, ensuring solutions are aligned with business needs and delivered to agreed quality standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and partners to ensure reliable support and continuous improvement.
- Produce clear, high-quality documentation of solution designs, configurations, and processes for continuity and knowledge sharing.
- Stay up to date with automation trends, regulatory changes, and technology innovations, applying them to improve service delivery.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with workflow automation and integration tools (e.g., Azure Logic Apps, Power Platform, Azure Data Factory).
- Strong understanding of automation principles, lifecycle management, and solution delivery.
- Proven ability to deliver solutions across core business systems (ERP, HRIS, EPM, legal/regulatory platforms).
- Skilled in supporting live solutions, diagnosing issues, and implementing enhancements.
- Experience in requirements gathering, technical specifications, and solution documentation.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional stakeholders and translating business needs into technical outcomes.
- Self-sufficient, proactive, and able to work independently without requiring extensive oversight.
- Experience with low-code/no-code platforms is desirable.
- Business knowledge in finance, HR, or regulatory processes would be advantageous.
- Location: able to collaborate in Chippenham, Wiltshire - UK HQ 2 days a week.
Benefits
- Competitive salary and discretionary bonus.
- 25 days holiday per annum + one celebration day + one volunteering day + eight bank holidays (pro rata).
